Dreaming Again

I had a dream this morning (early). I dreamed that I has poison ivy all over my body. But especially in my right eye, hand, and leg.

When I woke up I was rubbing my eyes. I was really itchy. And I still am - I took the girls for a walk yesterday down by the Bayou. Obviously I'm having some kind of reaction to the grass, the flowers, or the trees out there.

I CANNOT STOP ITCHING!

Now if you're reading this - are you itching?

I Work in Crazy Land

I work in a place that rewards crazy.

Two of my co-workers were screaming at each other in the hall this morning.

Apparently this started in front of some vendors they were suppose to be meeting with to finalize a major contract.

Nice -

I'm sure their reps were happy to hear obscenities - mostly the F word - being screamed in our downtown, high rise, offices.

Very professional.

And from what I can see - no one was reprimanded.  Because they are both just bopping around like nothing happened.

Never mind there was a person cowering in my cube to get away from them.

Never mind they actually scared me - I thought they were going to start punching each other - and they had me and the other person blocked in so we couldn't escape.

Never mind that this is the same person a group of us went to HR about a few weeks ago because we think he's crazy.  This same person who I know for a fact a least 2 other people have gone to HR informing them about his crazy ass behavior.  And how do I know about the other two?  Because he (Mr. Crazy himself) told me.

If this project doesn't kick off soon I'm sooo out of here.

Not a fan of crazy.

Nope. Not. At. All.

Bad Blogger, Bad!

I just read my last post... I guess I didn't do very well on trying to post more often!

I have a new job which is good.

Fur babies are doing good.

I'm having anxiety issues which is bad.

I think about dying a lot. Which I think means I have to much time on my hands.

I've been sick with what everyone thinks was the flu and I'm still exhausted from it. I just want to sleep for about 10 days.

I think that is part of my problem, I'm not busy at work, I've been sick, I'm not doing much at home, so I think.

Bad bad bad...

So I'm on a mission to find a new hobby like;

  1. Crocheting - I'm teaching myself and I made a square.  Go me!
  2. Painting - so far I've only done pinots pallet - you know drinking and painting.
  3. I've been looking up law schools, really not into going back to school for 5 or more years part time. So I may just audit classes that interest me.
  4. Pottery?
I am open to suggestions.  I love to craft but have yet to finish anything major. And if I did anything I've worked on is no longer to my taste.

Yes, it takes me that long to finish anything.

I'm also trying to exercise more. Can't think when you can't breathe.

I dream of winning the lottery. A big life altering lottery.  Cause I just want it handed to me.  I'm like that.

I also dream of:
  1. Being chased down by Mormons (WTF?!) I have no idea where that came from.
  2. My husband dying, after which my sister comes to live with me in a huge mansion that's falling down around us. So we are trying to prop the walls up to keep out... You guessed it!  Wolves!
  3. A big basket ball player grabbing me when I walk in to a room which reminds me of a classroom, there's a party and he dunks me. Like basketball. In a net.
I'm a little crazy. What can I say?

My Life...it's CRAZY!

O.K.  I just realized that it's been 2 months since I posted anything.

Well to catch you up...

1.  I'm doing volunteer work delivering pet food to those that are ill or elderly so they can keep their pets.  I never thought about how one would keep their companion animal if something catastrophic happened. It would kill me to have something horrible happen and on top of it I had to lose my furbabies.

Gut wrenching doesn't even cover it.

So if you want to give or volunteer the Pet Patrol's website here in Houston is http://www.thepetpatrol.org/

Worthwhile organization.

2.  Volunteering at K9 Angels - I'm walking dogs who are awaiting adoption.

3.  I was touched inappropriately by a masseuse... Yes, I accidentally went to one of "those" massage parlors.  It was traumatic.  Although, it was also freakin funny as hell too!

I mean really, only I would end up, clueless, in one of those places.  Not figuring it out when they asked for cash up front, including tip, when the woman didn't really know how to do a massage, not understanding what she was asking the 4 or 5 times she asked if I needed "special attention".

No, I didn't figure it out until she "touched" me.

SURPRISE!!!

4. We went to Miami and the Keys for vacation.

Fun.

5.  Katie is no longer on Prozac.

6.  The girls are cute and growing.

7. We got new brick steps because the girls were hard on the wood ones.

8.  We got roped into judging a Memorial Day chili cook-off.

It was fun.

9. And this past weekend we saw....

KHAAAAANNNNNN!

At the alamo draft house

And that about wraps it up.  I'm going to try not to let 2 more months go by without posting.

Ciao~

Attention span ZERO!

I cannot concentrate today.

Is it because it's Monday?  Because the weekend was too short?  Because I had LOTS of fun and now I'm sitting at a desk feeling my butt get bigger?

Is it because I have little to no human interaction during the day?

I am a drone...

Work. Work. Work!

I don't know.

I did have a dream last night.

I was in Dubai, on the beach with two other couples and we decided to go back to our respective hotel rooms.

Boring I know.

Maybe my dream is why I'm so bored today?

Anyway...

We go into the hotel the other two couples go to their rooms and I decide to leave to go back to wherever.

So one of the guys walks me to the elevator - not the one we came up on but a different one.

It was HUGE.  Like your living room stuck on the side of the building.

And the elevator attendant (yes there was one in a red suit with brass buttons no less) closes the drapes because it was one of those elevators with windows instead of walls.

And he pushed the down button.

AND the elevator WAS REALLY FAST!  Like heart stopping going 150mph fast.

The elevator that was going 150mph DID NOT STOP AT THE GROUND FLOOR!

It kept going down the street and onto the beach.

At which point I was freaking out, 1. because of the elevator ride, and 2. because I needed to be in the lobby of the hotel - not on the beach.

So I tell the elevator operator.

Then I woke up.

Hm.

I wonder what that could mean?

Dog Poo

I have mastiffs...

In case you've forgotten what they look like....

Here's Katie at 3 weeks (she's the one on the left with the white chin).

Here is Gracie at 9 weeks.

Here is a more recent picture of them.

They weigh 220lbs collectively.

We (and my we I mean me) scoop the poo from the back yard.

Imagine the poo.

'nough said.
